Can you believe
It’s almost 2010?! I can’t believe it! Although I’m ready for this year to be over. Next year has got to be better than this one right???? I’ve learned a lot this past year. I’ve learned to recognize who your “real” friends are. I truly understand the meaning of “fair weather friends”. It’s been a trying year for myself and Eric and I’ve learned that what matters is not what money can buy but what and who is around when the money is no longer there. It’s been a rough year, the economy is horrendous and I just hope that with all that I am that the next year is much better than this one.
I’ve decided that this new year is all about goals! Yep goals. I rarely make new year’s resolutions and I’m still not a fan of them but what I plan to do is make goals for the next 365 days.
Among these goals I plan on doing instead of thinking.
I’ve created a creative planner for myself that will hopefully help me attain my goals. I will post photos soon I promise. I’ve also got a lot planned for the new year with my career and finances. I don’t have a crafty photo to show but I found some pretties for you to gaze at in the mean time.
Enjoy!
And the Winner is…..
Sorry for the delay in posting the winner of my super yummy giveaway I had to work late
But anywho, I drew a winner tonight…but before I get to that, I wanted to video tape it but my camera only stays on for like 2 minutes anymore so I had to just snap a couple of pics while I could – I put everyone’s name on little papers in a bowl and shook it around and drew from there. Since I couldn’t really use random.org to generate a winner because of they way you earned entries….anyway enough babbling. I’m sure you’re all dying to know who won right?!
So here we go……

So Ms. Carol Anne, please email me your address and I will get your yummy winnings out to you.
For those of you who didn’t win, I’m sorry
but there is good news I have another New Years give away coming up soon that’s even yummier than this one so make sure you keep checking back for that one
In the mean time check out Carol Anne’s blog – she’s got some crazy cute stuff on there and some “sweet” jams playing too
I’ll have a better post for you all in the next day or two….
Ciao!
So much to share so little time
So first and foremost – Shipping on all Kharlie Bug items is just $1 to US residents from now until Christmas
Secondly, I’m trying to get everything new listed frantically as I haven’t had any time to do it this week. I really need to change my hours at work seeing as how I was DEAD this week and there was really no point in me being there.
So anywho, I’ve made a few of these beautiful hair pieces that are being listed right now. and I’ve made some other ones that are currently drying so I can photograph them and get them listed.
I’ve got so many ideas going through my little head that I can’t keep them straight. Oh, I’m happy to report that I’ve started making lists…this will only be a big deal to a few people but this is something I NEVER usually do. But I feel like I run out of time, energy and the desire to finish things unless they are in front of me. So when I’m all done with my listings I will post a picture of the super cute book I made for all my lists.
In the mean time – check back in my store often as I’ll be adding stuff all day
A great giveaway
found this this morning and want to share with all of you:
HERE
Now i don’t have any need for a onsie but my friend EY just found out she’s expecting so if I win it’s totally going to her
A day of rain and flowers
HOLY MOLY the weather was crazy yesterday. From snow in the Bay area to our wicked storm last night that knocked down our Eucalyptus tree in our back yard. Thankfully our tree is still pretty small in comparison but if it would have been just a tad bigger it would have it the house
This weather is just weird everywhere. It’s a good hat day so I’m wearing one
Anywho, yesterday I made flowers. Lots of flowers. Unfortunately I only got to snap a few photos because there’s something wrong with my camera. I put new batteries in it and it only stays on for like 5 photos. I have a cannon Power Shot S3IS and it’s never given me problems until now. Anyone have this camera or this same problem? It’s sucks because we’re too broke to get a new camera yet I need one to list all my yummies in my store. Well on to the flowers:
I really love this one. I think because of the earthy tones. The difference between this flower and all the others is that this is wool. I don’t know the exact amount of wool in this felt but it’s wool cuz it made me itchy while makin’ in but it’s so pretty and the petals are so thick!
All of these hair brooches will be in my store this week if I can get decent pictures. The wool flower is already up if you wanna take a look HERE
I also went thrifting on Sunday and picked up two really kewl items that I want to share with you but again, the camera is broken
So I’ll have to figure something else out.
Don’t forget about the giveaway I’m having too. It’s at the top of the page and you should tell all your friends about it so they have a chance to win too
A long week
It’s finally my Saturday even though it’s Sunday. This last week was so long! It didn’t end until after midnight last night. We had a super fun crop at the salon. Yep, at the salon. We had fun. Even though Laurie and I were exhausted. I got rid of a ton of crafty stuff I didn’t want anymore and it all went to good homes
I’ve been trying to do my Style School Homework but haven’t had a ton of time. I’m going to try to get a “good” start on it between today and tomorrow.
In the mean time here are some Sunday Pretties for you to enjoy!
A Yummy Givaway

Cyber Monday and the rest of the week
I fully intended on posting all my new creations in my store on Black Friday. When that didn’t happen I thought I’d have plenty of time to do it for Cyber Monday. Well it’s Monday and it’s more than halfway through the day and I’m barely getting my stuff listed. The good news is I’m listing it right now and there are some really fun things including great holiday gifts listed.
Here’s a peek at what I’ve been working on and what is going up in Kharlie Bug tonight. Some of it’s already there and more is being listed so hurry if you have your eye on something you like
Some new stuff and a cute item found
I’ve been working so hard trying to get all my goods listed in my store before today. That didn’t happen. So I’m going to do a big Cyber week sale starting today as soon as I get batteries for the camera an photograph everything. But in the mean time how stinkin’ cute are these?! I found this super cute Etsy shop and they had theses amazing earrings.
I want this tree
How stinkin’ cute is this? I absolutely love what this person has done.
